Results: qualified for the national boty:
1. Rocking Attack (Stuttgart)
2. Incredible Syndicate (Geislingen)
Headlines: the open air event took place on a fair ground, the warm & sunny weather created a nice athmosphere.
in the crowd were different b-boy circles with famous southern b-boys like the "south side rockers" or "active artists".
on stage the judges speedy, crok, paulo, carlos and tuff kid first proofed their skills and competence.
then altogether 15 crews from all over southern germany performed.
the first round was overshadowed by a serious knee injury of "mauro" one dancer of the "bionics" crew after doing air twists.
after different freestyle raps of "mc rené" and a rap showcase of "spax" it was battletime.
in the first semi final battle "incredible syndicate" won against"stylissimo" the second semi final battle was won by the favourites and local heroes "rocking attack" from stuttgart who battled against "the bandit crew".
the final battle between "rocking attack" and "incredible syndicate" featured some incredible power move combinations and one hand ninetynine variations and finally was won by "rocking attack".

we feel very sorry for the injury of "mauro" and want to excuse that it took so long till the ambulance arrived to bring him to the hospital - hopefully he will get better soon and rock the floor !

Results: 1. Five Amox
2. Mission Impossible

qualified for the national boty:
3. Spinning Locks
4. 8 point 7
Headlines: 14 crews came to battle for the berlin b-boy championships and for the two qualifying places for the national battle of the year.

two female guest crews, "first ladies" from berlin and "wild baby crew" from moscow also took part.

the berlin title defenders "five amox" also took place as guests cause they already were qualified directly for the national battle of the year.

in the final battle the "five amox" won against "mission impossible" which later on were disqualified for the reason that it was a mixed crew consisting of different crews and some of their dancers already took part in other national battle of the year eliminations before.

for that reason both crews who were in the battle for third place now are qualified for the national battle of the year 2001.

"spinning locks" and "8 point 7" from berlin will represent berlin city at the national battle of the year.
